Bo is back at Mix 92.9 and glad to be “playing” radio once again.
Bo started in the biz during high school in Union City, Tennessee. Funny story... “The radio station actually burned down the first day I was supposed to work” says Bo. “I was so excited, I was going in early to board op American Country Countdown and noticed this orange cast in the sky. Little did I know as I traveled down the highway that the orange was from the flames of the burning radio station. The firemen were all standing around drinking coffee and watching it go down as it was fully engulfed when they arrived.”
Bo arrived on the Nashville airwaves in 1988 and has worked in Music City for more than 20 years.
Married to his wife Becky for more than 22 years, they have two boys Will and Cole. The family is knee deep in sports. Will wrestles at a college in Kentucky and Cole plays basketball and baseball for his local high school.
When Bo is not watching his boys play their sports, you’ll find him cheering on his beloved Kentucky Wildcats. Yes, the veins run ROYAL BLUE!
You can hear Bo on Mix 92.9 on Saturday mornings from 6 till 10 or whenever Barbara Bridges commands his presence!
