Remembering Whitney

 When I worked at DreamWorks, we had the pleasure of putting out a song called "When You Believe." It was a duet between Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey from the movie The Prince of Egypt. I thought this was one of the most beautiful songs I'd ever heard. The song would make me cry in meetings, listening to it while discussing marketing plans, airplay, etc. And I don't mean just getting choked up, I mean tears coming down my face. In front of hardened male record executives.

That perfect voice, that smile. We'll miss you, Whitney. Rest in peace.
